All of our teachers are qualified to teach Pilates for pregnancy. We currently do not offer specific pregnancy Pilates classes, however we tailor the exercises for pregnant clients in regular classes.
We just ask that you are 16 weeks pregnant if a total beginner to Pilates before you start a class. One2ones are also a great idea for pregnant ladies.
Body Control Pilates exercises are designed for optimum health and fitness throughout every stage of pregnancy.
Pilates will help you:
- get fit for labour and delivery
- strengthen Pelvic Floor
- prepare the body for increased demands
- improve awareness of breath control
- improve relaxation skills
- lay foundations to help regain figure
Mat classes are performed in the main studio for up to 12 clients. Offering physical and mental training, mat classes work on body awareness, core strength and postural alignment.
For up to six clients, our group Reformer classes aim to dramatically change the way your body looks, feels and performs. Using a combination of springs, ropes and a moving carriage, the reformer machine provides resistance and assistance to Pilates exercises.
We are very excited to introduce Cadillac classes to the Studio timetable. The Cadillac is an amazing machine which supports and guides the body to rebalance muscle strength and create flexibility in every joint. With the ability to isolate almost every muscle group, the Cadillac is an excellent tool for breaking down movements in order to identify and correct inefficient motion patterns.
With an individual workout tailored to a client’s specific requirements, Studio Sessions are performed across a range of equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac and Chair. Highly personalised, the sky is the limit with these sessions.
For clients who may need or would prefer to work alone with a teacher, we can provide private Pilates sessions tailored to a person’s particular needs.
